The Lexi Project, a collaborative fund raiser event founded by Toxxic Rhiannyr & Heather Smithson, created to bring SecondLife brands together in hopes to raise money for one of our own, Lexi Zelin / AngelRed Couture. As many have probably by now heard, Lexi has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma and is in desperate need of funds to assist in paying her medical bills / expenses as she is unable to work. Lexi is only 28 years old, mother of one beautiful little girl and plays an important role within SecondLife by creating high quality, full permission mesh apparel, paving the way for many people in the virtual world to have the freedom of opening a store.

The Lexi Project is scheduled to open its doors Sunday, July 26th @ midnight slt. Each brand participating will have a minimum of 1-2 new items, 100% of the proceeds from sales go directly to an event account, opened by Lexi Zelin.

È una domenica mattina, una bella mattina d’inverno. Ci sono un uomo e suo figlio. Stanno facendo una passeggiata. Il bambino è felice di essere lì dov’è, per mano a suo padre. Camminano per un po’, poi si fermano a guardare il cielo. Contano le scie degli aeroplani. È un gioco che fanno spesso e il bambino si ricorda di quella volta che sono arrivati a nove. Stamani sono solo tre, due che formano una croce e la terza che non si vede quasi più. Il bambino ha quattro anni e strizza gli occhi per il sole. Il bambino ha quattro anni e crede che tutto sia possibile. Tira suo padre per la manica, lo fa accovacciare, lo guarda negli occhi e gli chiede se si può camminare in equilibrio sulla scia degli aeroplani. Il padre guarda verso il cielo e gli risponde di sì, che si può. "E quando la scia finisce?", chiede il bambino. Si cade, gli sta per dire. Ma poi gli fa il solletico, lui ride e si dimentica di quelle scie.
