 I'm sure that evil exists, but it is hard to isolate. 
Good and evil are intertwined and impossible to separate.

Ilaria metteva da parte i sorrisi per quando le cose sarebbero andate meglio. Viveva da sola, faceva le marmellate e non vedeva molta gente. Usciva da casa la mattina, andava a fare la spesa, salutava tutti e tornava prima di mezzogiorno. Dopo essere rimasta da sola, aveva deciso di prendersi una vacanza dalla vita. Era andata dal suo capo a dire che se ne andava e quando lui le aveva chiesto dove, lei aveva risposto con un gesto vago. Aveva traslocato nella sua casa in campagna. Aveva denaro sufficiente per tirare avanti qualche anno. Spesso si svegliava in piena notte, si teneva la testa tra le braccia e cantava sottovoce per non sentire il rumore. Sono passati tre anni da quando si è trasferita. Ilaria ha quasi finito i soldi. Però ha un sacco di sorrisi che non ha speso. Ieri notte ne ha provato uno davanti allo specchio. Poi l’ha rimesso via e ha spento la luce.

Tanto ci sono il papà e la mamma,seduti lì davanti, che pensano a tutto loro. Poi succede che cresci e un giorno ti ritrovi alla guida. E scopri che non è così semplice, scopri che la vita non è un’autostrada a quattro corsie e che il navigatore ti porta all’arrivo, ma l'arrivo non è quasi mai dove vorresti essere.
