arrivi alla fine e te rendi conto che te piaci. Che te piaci perchè sei tu, e perché per piacerti c’hai messo na vita intera: la tua. Ce metti una vita intera per accorgerti che a chi dovevi piacè, sei piaciuta… e a chi no, mejo così. Anche se lo ammetto, è più raro trovà un uomo a cui piaci, che te piace, che beccà uno ricco sfondato a Porta Portese!
Ce metti na vita per contà i difetti e riderce sopra, perché so belli, perché so i tuoi. Perché senza tutti quei difetti, e chi saresti? Nessuno.
Quante volte me sò guardata allo specchio e me so vista brutta, terrificante.
Co sto nasone, co sti zigomi e tutto il resto. E quando la gente me diceva pe strada “bella Annì! Anvedi quanto sei bona!” io nun capivo e tra me e me pensavo “bella de che?”.
Eppure, dopo tanti anni li ho capiti.
C’ho messo na vita intera per piacermi.
E adesso, quando me sento dì “bella Annì, quanto sei bona!”, ce rido sopra come na matta e lo dico forte, senza vergognarmi, ad alta voce “Anvedi a sto cecato!".
